RIGHT ONE AWARDS

The Right Coast Reps want to recognize some of their neighbors who have made a contribution to our hobby in
a variety of ways. As a result, we have created the Right Coast Rep's Choice Award.

Our reps will be looking for people or organizations that, in their actions or programs, reflect the values of the Right Coast
Association. Values that include the promotion of the automotive hobby in a family and community centered fashion.

Michael Goodson RECEIVES RIGHT COAST
ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Joyce & Ken Held presented the Right One Award to Michael Goodson of Adams, MA at the 2015 Syracuse Nationals.
Mike and his son Matthew purchased the 1967 Chevelle SS in June of 2012. The father and son team started to restore the car and looked forward to getting it on the road.  Just a month later Matt was killed in a motorcycle accident.  Mike was devastated.  A month later, Mike lost his best friend.  With all the sadness, Mike’s girlfriend encouraged him to finish the car he started with Matt.  For the next two years Mike put his all into building the car.  He found it to be therapy for him.  When it was done he dedicated it in the memory of Matt.  Mike is grateful for the help he received from Bob Lescarbeau on the body and paint, Buddy Zanconato of Zanconato Engine Repair of Pittsfield, MA and Joe Dean from Dean’s Auto of North Adams, MA along with his friends who were willing to listen and help him with his dream of finishing the car that Matt and he started.

We at Right Coast are proud to have Mike Goodson join our group of “Right One” Award Winners.
His dedication to his son, their dream, and to the car hobby makes him the right one for this award.
