Cruise In kicks off Total Performance Hot Rod Parts’ & YearOne Grand Opening

Total Performance Hot Rod Parts, the Florida arm of Mickey Lauria’s highly successful Total Performance, Inc. held a “Grand Opening” cruise-in on Saturday, October 21.
Located on five manicured acres, along US 1 near the Daytona Beach/Ormond Beach, FL area, the new 4800 square foot facility was welcomed by local street rodders who appreciate having a professional rod shop in the area. In addition to being a full stocking dealer for nearly all of the street rod parts manufacturers, Total Performance, Inc. is best known for their T-Bucket kits. Kits in various stages of construction were on display as well as the new King T track roadster.
YearOne, manufacturers of the “new” all steel ’69 Camaro, share space with Total Performance Hot Rod Parts and will cater to the fast growing muscle car crowd. YearOne had a complete ‘new’ 69 Camaro convertible on display, as well as a beautiful fiberglass, pro street, Chevy II that stopped visitors in their tracks.
The highly popular Cruisin’ Destination Daytona was not held as Biketoberfest activities were in full swing on the scheduled third Saturday of the month. The Total Performance Hot Rod Parts grand opening cruise filled that void. Co-sponsored by Total Performance, Inc, Right Coast Association, and YearOne, Cruisin Destination Daytona will return to Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona on the third Saturday of November.
