Sally Salisbury of Weedsport, NY was the lucky Syracuse Nationals
participant to win this year's Right Coast giveaway vehicle, a
1949 Chevy pickup truck. From left, Terry and Sally Salisbury,

of Chop Shop Customs, Woburn, MA, body and paint work.

The build starts with some serious demolition! Front cab corners, firewall,
floor and rear cab corners needed to be replaced. Bob O'Connor can handle
a cut off wheel but leaves the fabrication to Dave Tucci at Tucci Engineering
and Lenny Schaeffer at Chop-Shop Customs.


Dave Tucci forms the new firewall on the pullmax.


Dave sets up the pullmax to shape the new floor. Bob helps guide the
piece while Dave runs the controls.


Dave forms a panel on the "BIG" hammer.

Out goes the old and in goes the new outer panels supplied by
LMC Truck of Lenexa, KA.



The Fat Man Fabrications chassis will give our truck a smooth and safe ride.



The box is from Pro's Pick of Fergus, Ontario, CA. They also supplied
rear fenders and a power toneau cover.


Lenny welds in the new firewall while Dave works on the floor panels.

The last piece to go in was the floor pan. The cab is now solid and ready for
body work and paint at Chop-Shop Customs in Woburn, MA.

The truck is coming together. This will be a great ride for the
lucky winner. The rest of the work will be completed at
Chop-Shop Customs in Woburn, MA.

The work progresses at Chop-Shop Customs. Lenny Schaeffer and his crew
pull out all the stops to get the truck in paint for the Syracuse Nationals.


Chop-Shop Customs begins to spray the custom DuPONT Hout Hues
finish that will make this truck look as sweet as Murray Pfaff's Rendering.

Dave Tucci of TUCCI Engineering in Marcy, NY makes a trip to Chop-Shop
to help get this Chevy ready for its debut at the Syracuse Nationals in ONE WEEK!!


One Arm Bandit Pinstriping & Lettering outlined the orange flame stripe and
added a custom center piece stripe that finished of Chop-Shops paint job perfectly.


The wide whites supplied by Diamond Back Tires of Conway, SC. look
great on the wheels by Radir of Montville, NJ. They give the truck a nice
resto look yet the paint scheme by Pfaff Designs of Detroit, MI. shouts
hi-tech. What a great combination.


Dobles GM Parts Depot of Manchester, NH delivered the strong GM 350
crate motor for the project.




Open Wide! The box, wood floor, rear fenders and power toneau cover from
Pro's Pick of Fergus Ontario make this one unique ride. Tailgate party time?




FlyBoyz Street Rod Designs of Horseheads, NY provided the complete
interior for the truck and we couldn't be happier!


Haneline Products, Morongo Valley, CA provided these vintage style gauges
that accent the Flaiming River, Berea, OH
steering column perfectly!


All companies that supplied parts or service for the vehicle are listed on this
plackard that will be on display with the truck. The truck will be at the World of Wheels
show in Boston on Jan 5-7, Frank Marotta show in Hartford, CT and the Spring
Rhinebeck swap meet in Rhinebeck, NY.


A winning combination with the giveaway truck next to the Right Coast show rig.


The truck has a perfect stance thanks to the rolling chassis provided by
